The NMIC Infrastructure consists of a spacious campus area, a multipurpose convention hall, four well equipped theatres and a safe and secured parking area. The venues for hire are on enquiry.
Situated at the heart of South Mumbai, NMIC has a lush green campus area, surrounded by trees and a comfortable sitting place suitable for all age groups. The space is suitable for large scale festivals, cultural events, exhibitions and corporate fairs. The space is divided into 4 parts –
Named after versatile filmmaker Jehangir Bhownagary who transformed documentary filmmaking in India, the J. B. Hall or the multipurpose convention hall at the NMIC campus is an ideal venue for cultural, official and corporate programmes with a seating capacity of approx. 200 attendees at a time. A well lit big stage, AC green rooms, a projection screen and sound system are a part of the hall.
The museum complex has 4 well-equipped theatres with varying seating capacities, two of which are situated on the ground floor of the glass gallery. The NMIC theatres have hosted a number of memorable film screenings, masterclasses, press conferences, events and talk shows over the years, providing engaging experience for the museum visitors and general audiences as well.
NMIC is well-connected and easily accessible by road transport, which makes it important to provide the visitors with a well-maintained parking space. The complex has a spacious premise that offers comfortable and secure parking for around 100 vehicles.
